An area high school coach is under suspension while he's investigated for allegations he made advances toward two students.
The case centers on Hominy High School, in Osage County. News on Six reporter Emory Bryan says the authorities were called after two students complained a track coach at the high school assaulted them in a field house. According to investigators, the two female students say the male coach grabbed at them while they prepared for a workout. Deputies say both victims are high school age.
The Hominy school district will say only that a teacher has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of an investigation. One of the victims told her family the coach pulled her shorts down and looked under her shirt in the field house.
Investigators from the Osage County Sheriff's office have questioned the two girls - and plan to question other members of the track team - to see if there may be additional victims.
The coach has not been arrested - but was suspended with pay, Wednesday. The school and deputies won't release the coach's name.
