(White House-AP) -- Who needs the Orioles? And forget about the Senators -- they're not coming back anyway. A battle for District bragging rights is shaping up -- and will be fought on the South Lawn of the White House.
The Benning Park Patriots will take on the Fort Lincoln Brewers when T-ball returns to the White House this Sunday.
Redskins cornerback Darrell Green will coach third base, while Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta will do the honors at first. Hall of Famer Ernie Banks will do the play-by-play.
It'll be the second game played there since President Bush announced plans to host a series of T-ball games. The former owner of the Texas Rangers is hoping to drum up interest in baseball.
The T-ballers -- who range in age from 4-to-8 -- will get a tour of the White House, plus baseballs autographed by Bush.
