Tulsa Police are looking for the killer of an East Tulsa storeowner. Someone shot Abid Al-Sharif at his C-Mart Convenience Store.
His brother found him at closing time, and called police. The store's cash register was apparently undisturbed. But family members told the News on Six, Al Sharif always carried large amounts of cash, but police found none at the crime scene. They also want people to know he was a devoted husband and father of three, who worked double shifts, seven days a week until he saved enough for his own store. They say he was finally living the American dream. A niece of the victim, Denise Alford says, "Abid was a good person. He worked to hard to provide for them, and all he cared about was his boys, and providing a home and their future. That's all he cared about, that's what he lived for. That if anybody knows any information then please come forward."
The Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death. No one has been arrested.
