OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ David Evans homered in a nine-run third inning as Texas A&M eliminated Oklahoma from the Big 12 tournament with a 10-1 win Saturday.
The Aggies (33-26) advanced to Sunday's championship game against either Nebraska or Oklahoma State. Those teams played Saturday, with OSU having to win twice in order to keep Nebraska from the title game.
Evans' homer was one of 10 hits in the third inning. Jeff Freeman, Neal Stephenson and Ben Himes each had doubles.
Texas A&M's nine runs in one inning is the second most in Big 12 tournament play. Oklahoma State scored 10 runs in one inning Friday night against Iowa State.
Chris French (4-0) pitched eight innings for the victory, allowing five hits and one run.
Austin Mix (3-9) got the loss for Oklahoma (25-33-1). He gave up six runs in two-plus innings.
Stephenson had four hits and Freeman had three for Texas A&M.
