OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Jimbo McAuliff had three hits Saturday, including a two-run single in the sixth inning when Oklahoma State scored three times to beat Oklahoma 6-3.
Mike Miller went 7 1/3 innings for the victory, which along with a loss by Texas A&M ensured that the Cowboys (37-18, 15-14 Big 12) will finish fifth in the conference.
Oklahoma (23-30-1, 13-15-1) winds up seventh in the Big 12.
The Sooners scored twice off Miller in the first inning, getting an RBI single from Greg Dobbs and a run-scoring double from Sean Smith. Dobbs had three of Oklahoma's seven hits.
Oklahoma State tied the score on Luke Scott's two-run homer in the second. An RBI triple by Dobbs gave Oklahoma a 3-2 lead in the third, then the Cowboys tied it again in the fifth when Nebasett Brown singled to score McAuliff.
Paul Powell got OSU going with a one-out single in the sixth. He moved to third on a single by Scott, then scored on a double by Zach Cates. After an intentional walk and a strikeout, McAuliff came through with his hit off reliever Michael Bradbury.
Miller (2-1) allowed seven hits and the three runs while striking out six. Dustin Whipple and Joe Weaver pitched hitless ball in the final 1 2/3 innings, with Weaver getting his first save.
