BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ Phillips Petroleum Co. announced a slate of executives Thursday to manage its refining, marketing and transportation operations after its acquisition of Tosco Corp. closes in the third quarter.
The list includes current Phillips and Tosco executives. Mike Panatier, 52, will be chief operating officer of the new division, to be based in Tempe, Ariz. Panatier will keep his current title of executive vice president of Phillips.
Tom Nimbley, 49, current senior vice president of refining for Tosco, will head up refining for the combined operation and be a senior vice president of Phillips.
Phillips' current transportation and products supply manager, Steve Barham, 49, will be in charge of transportation for the new division.
Tosco's vice president of branded retail, Mark Harper, 42, will head up dealer-marketer activities.
Dave Holthe, 37, will be in charge of retail marketing responsible for operations of almost 2,500 company-owned outlets. Supply chain management of crude oil supplies and related activities will fall to Andy Kelleher, 43, the current vice president of commercial operations for Tosco.
Rich Reinken, 44, vice president and chief information officer for Tosco, will be in charge of finance and administration for the division.
Barhman, Harper, Holthe, Kelleher and Reinken will also be Phillips vice presidents.
Hank Kuchta, 42, vice president of corporate development for Tosco, will be in charge of business and project development.
The companies previously announced that Tom O'Malley, Tosco's chief executive officer, will become chief executive officer of Phillips' refining, marketing and transportation operations and be vice chairman of Phillips.
