Street improvement projects that affect traffic on major Tulsa streets include:

OPEN: ALL LANES ON FOURTH STREET, MAIN STREET TO BOSTON AVENUE

OPEN: BOTH DIRECTIONS OF TRAFFIC ON EAST 51sT STREET NORTH, PEORIA AVENUE TO UTICA AVENUE

ADMIRAL PLACE AND MINGO ROAD: The outside, eastbound lane on the bridge over Mingo Creek is closed due to a pavement failure.

RIVERSIDE DRIVE, 5400 BLOCK: Pavement repairs are continuing. Northbound traffic. is narrowed to one lane.

NORTH PEORIA AVENUE, PINE STREET TO SEMINOLE STREET: Traffic is narrowed to two lanes for four to five months during widening of Peoria.

SOUTH DELAWARE AVENUE IS CLOSED BETWEEN 10TH AND EIGHTH STREETS for four to six weeks during a storm water drainage improvement project.

EAST 15TH STREET SOUTH, HARVARD TO YALE AVENUES: Motorists should expect delays during utility relocations in preparation for the widening of 15'h Street.

EAST 13TH STREET SOUTH AND EAST 14TH STREET SOUTH, UTICA AVENUE TO LEWIS AVENUE: Traffic has been narrowed to two lanes during street rehabilitation.

SOUTH GARNETT ROAD, EAST 41sT STREET TO EAST 51sT STREET: Construction has begun to widen Garnett Road to five lanes. Completion is estimated for mid-summer 2001. .

*Residential street sweeping for week of April 30 - May 4: A private City contractor will be sweeping curbed residential streets within the boundaries of East 71st Street, East 111th Street, South Garnett Road and Sheridan Road between the hours of 8:30 and 4 p.m. Residents should try to park off the street during those hours.
