(Tulsa-AP) -- A high school considered to be one of the worst performing schools in Tulsa will be rededicated this afternoon.

McClain High School will become the Tulsa High School for Science and Technology in an effort to reverse declining student enrollment and falling student achievement.

The new focus on science and technology will be phased in at the school over the next four years, starting with the ninth grade.
