STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Lisa Carey and Kelly Braitsch drove in five runs each as Oklahoma's softball team handed Oklahoma State its worst loss ever, 16-0 Thursday night.
Carey was 3-for-5 with two homers. Braitsch was 3-for-3 with a home run and she scored four times.
Jennifer Stewart (24-3) gave up two hits in four innings. Amanda Ratliff pitched the final inning. The game was stopped after five innings due to the run rule.
Oklahoma (35-7, 10-2 Big 12) had 15 hits against three Cowgirl pitchers.
Lauren Bay (10-10) only trailed 1-0 before Oklahoma scored eight runs in the third inning.
The crowd of 887 was the largest in Cowgirl Stadium history.
The loss drops Oklahoma State to 20-20 overall, 4-8 in the conference.
