(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa-based Williams Companies says its Williams Express unit is selling 198 Mapco convenience stores in a 147 million dollar deal.
The sale to Delek is to close by May 30th.
Williams had said earlier it would sell the stores that are located mainly in Tennessee to Convenience U-S-A of North Carolina. However, provision in the agreement gave Delek an option to become the final purchaser of the stores.
Williams owns gas pipeline, energy services and communications units.
