(Muskogee-AP) -- Bacone College is moving up to the NAIA and joining the Red River Conference next year.

The Muskogee college is also resurrecting football after a 44-year absence and is announcing its 2001 schedule that includes six home games. Bacone will play three games against N-C-A-A Division Two schools.

Bacone officials are also announcing the selection of Rusty Kennedy as women's basketball coach.
