LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Brooke Shields is suddenly a married woman.

The former ``Suddenly Susan'' star exchanged wedding vows with writer-producer Chris Henchy last Wednesday on Santa Catalina Island off the Southern California coast.

No other details about the ceremony were available, a spokeswoman said Tuesday. Shields, 35, and Henchy, 38, became engaged in July.

The marriage is Shields' second. She and tennis star Andre Agassi married in April 1997 and filed for divorce two years later.

The actress, who began modeling as a toddler, has appeared in films including ``Pretty Baby,'' ``The Blue Lagoon'' and ``Endless Love.'' Her NBC sitcom ``Suddenly Susan'' ended in 2000 after four years.
