Street improvement projects that affect traffic on major Tulsa streets include:

OPEN: SOUTH SHERIDAN ROAD AND EAST 31sT STREET

OPEN: NORTH PEORIA AVENUE, APACHE STREET TO ZION STREET

OPEN: EAST APACHE STREET, PEORIA AVENUE TO QUAKER AVENUE

OPEN: WEST 61ST STREET SOUTH AND UNION AVENUE

OPEN: CINCINNATI AVENUE, ARCHER STREET TO FIRST STREET

OPEN: SOUTH NEW HAVEN AVENUE, 31ST STREET TO 32ND STREET

NEW: RIVERSIDE DRIVE: NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC IS NARROWED TO ONE LANE BETWEEN 51sT AND 61sT STREETS FOR 7 TO 10 DAY'S.

NORTH PEORIA AVENUE, PINE STREET TO MOHAWK BOULEVARD: Traffic is narrowed to two lanes for four to five months during widening of Peoria.

FOURTH STREET, MAIN STREET TO BOSTON AVENUE: Traffic has been narrowed to one lane for two to three weeks during installation of a new water line.

THIRD STREET AND MAIN STREET: Traffic lanes been switched to the new south lanes during reconstruction of the north lanes. A new two-lane road is being built on Main Street between Third and Fourth streets.

FOURTH STREET AND MAIN STREET: The south two lanes are closed during construction of a two-lane road on Main Street between Third and Fourth Streets.

SOUTH DELAWARE AVENUE IS CLOSED BETWEEN 10TH AND EIGHTH STREETS for two months during a stormwater drainage improvement project.

EAST 15TH STREET SOUTH, HARVARD TO YALE AVENUES: Motorists should expect delays during utility relocations in preparation for the widening of 15th Street.

EAST 1311 STREET SOUTH AND EAST 14TH STREET SOUTH, PEORIA AVENUE TO LEWIS AVENUE: Traffic has been narrowed to two lanes during street rehabilitation.

SOUTH GARNETT ROAD, EAST 41sT STREET TO EAST 51sT STREET: Construction has begun to widen Garnett Road to five lanes. Completion is estimated for mid-summer 2001.

EAST 51ST STREET NORTH, PEORIA AVENUE TO UTICA AVENUE: Traffic. is limited to westbound only during street rehabilitation.

*Residential street sweeping for week of April 9-13: A private City contractor will be sweeping curbed residential streets within the boundaries of Apache Street, Interstate 244, Lewis Avenue and Cincinnati Avenue between the hours of 8:30 and 4 p.m. Residents should try to park off the street during those hours.
