(Norman-AP) -- Nebraska has swept a three-game baseball series with Oklahoma.
Yesterday, Justin Seeley hit a two-run homer in a four-run fourth inning to lead the Cornhuskers to a 14-to-4 victory in Norman.
The game was called after seven innings because of the conference's 10-run rule. Nebraska collected 12 hits and scored in every inning but the fifth.
Nebraska took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, then added four runs in the second inning. Oklahoma pitcher Austin Mix walked Adam Stern to force in a run and then designated hitter Matt Hopper hit a three-run double to plate three more runs.
Denver Kitch and Matt Fisher drove in O-U's first two runs with back-to-back hits in the second inning. But after Jerome Godsey's two-run single in the fourth inning, the Sooners wouldn't score again. Nebraska added another run in the sixth and two more in the seventh.
