(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association's board of directors are saying ``no'' to a plan for additional high school sports classifications.
On a 13-to-1 vote, the board declined to send the question to a vote of the schools.
The proposal by Mooreland superintendent Terry Kellner would have added new classifications in seven sports, including football, basketball, baseball and wrestling.
Board chairman Zane Bowman says the sentiment he hears is that there are already too many classifications.
