(Atlanta-AP) -- Turner Sports is shifting its NASCAR coverage from T-B-S to T-N-T as part of a new marketing strategy.

T-B-S, N-B-C and Fox negotiated television rights deals with NASCAR in 1999 for about 400 (m) million dollars per year starting with the current season.

Fox has the first half of each season, while N-B-C and T-B-S are to split the second half. Now, T-N-T will take over for T-B-S, airing seven Winston Cup races and 13 Busch Series events, starting in July.

T-B-S is in more than 82 (m) million U-S homes. T-N-T is in one (m) million fewer homes.
