(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa-based Williams Communications is selling its communications operations in Canada to a Vancouver, Canada, company.

The sale of Williams Communications Canada to Telus Corporation is expected to be finalized on Saturday. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

Williams has 14 offices in Canada that sell, install and service communications equipment.

Williams President Howard Janzen says the company will focus on growth in its core business of broadband network services.
