(Camp Blanding-AP) - First there was ``Survivor'' then ``Temptation Island,'' ``Big Brother'' and ``The Mole.''
Now, reality TV joins the Army with ``Boot Camp.'' The latest in voyeuristic television premieres tomorrow night on the Fox network.
Contests will compete for a 5-hundred thousand dollar grand prize during the eight-episode series filmed at a real military base, the Florida National Guard's Camp Blanding.
Real drill instructors put 16 civilians through a military-style training program. It includes an obstacle course, rappelling out of buildings and a hostage rescue mission.
Like ``Survivor,'' someone gets the boot every week, but in a dramatic twist, the loser takes someone with him. No one is safe.
The 16 recruits were chosen from 6-thousand 5-hundred applicants across the country. They include a sheriff's deputy, art teacher, sales analyst and house wife. There's even a pig farmer.
Katie Coddington is the only recruit from Florida. She is a 23-year-old from Tallahassee.
