(Columbia, South Carolina-AP) -- Separate reports say Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson has either been contacted about coaching at South Carolina, or isn't interested in the job.

A Charleston, South Carolina, newspaper is reporting that Gamecock athletic director Mike McGee has contacted Sampson through a third party.

However, Sampson told the Tulsa World he has had no contact with McGee and isn't interested in the South Carolina job.

Sampson is 156-and-69 in seven years at O-U, with seven consecutive N-C-double-A Tournament appearances.
