(Stringtown-AP) -- A father says Atoka County authorities looking for two prison escapees pointed guns at a group of children playing paintball.
Steve Pebworth says he and the children were playing behind his home about two miles north of Stringtown.
Pebworth says two members of the Atoka County Sheriff's Office came to his home to check out possible sightings of William Davis and Douglas Gray, who remain at large after escaping from the Stringtown prison Friday.
Seventeen-year-old Brandon Pugh says officers approached him in the field and pointed weapons at him and ordered him to come out.
Pebworth says the lawman also pointed weapons at other younger children.
Atoka County Sheriff Gary McCool says officers did respond to an area near Pebworth's house, but didn't point weapons at the children.
McCool says Pebworth shouldn't have had the children in the woods, since the escapees are on the loose.
