(Poteau-AP) -- Cameron High School Principal Marvin Trouvenel is suspended with pay after a student raised allegations of sexual misconduct.
Cameron Superintendent Charles Caughern says the suspension with pay is customary when a student makes such an allegation. Caughern says the case is now in the hands of the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's Investigator Barry Ammons says a 16-year-old female student made the allegation of improper sexual behavior by the principal and the case is still under investigation.
