(Amarillo, Texas-AP) -- The Oklahoma Civil Air Patrol wing is helping in the search for a missing helicopter in the Texas Panhandle.

Gene and Bobbie Sue Webb have been missing for more than a week after leaving their daughter's home in Gruver, Texas, in the Robinson R-22 helicopter.

The search has extended into the Oklahoma Panhandle and western Oklahoma.

Freezing temperatures, fog and snow have limited search efforts. The fact that the Webbs' helicopter is white with black markings has also made the search difficult because of the snow still on the ground.

C-A-P wings in Oklahoma and New Mexico are now assisting the Texas wing in the search.
