(Stillwater-AP) -- Two trucks and research equipment recently stolen from Oklahoma State University have been recovered.

One of the trucks was taken from the O-S-U physical plant on Monday. It was found today in downtown Stillwater. Police say no arrests have been made.

O-S-U Sergeant Mark Shearer says another truck that was loaded with research equipment when it was stolen in December has been found in Lincoln County. He says most of the research items were recovered.

Former O-S-U groundskeeper Ernest Harden is in custody in Kansas and has confessed to stealing the truck. University officials say Harden was not an employee at the time of the theft.

At the time Harden was arrested he had a trailer that belongs to O-S-U but had not been reported stolen. Shearer says police are trying to determine which department owns the trailer.
