Oklahoma company mourns Earnhardt

(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma City-based company is among those mourning the death of NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt.

Sonic Corporation became a sponsor of Earnhardt less than a week before the racer was killed in a crash on the last lap of Sunday's Daytona 500. The race was the first in which the Sonic logo appeared on Earnhardt's racing car.

Sonic officials say they've extended their condolences to Earnhardt's family and that any further comment would be inappropriate.
