OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities are searching for 69 guns stolen from a state fairgrounds building sometime after the Oklahoma City Gun Show closed over the weekend, police said.

The guns were being held in the Modern Living Building at the fairgrounds and were discovered missing Sunday morning by gun show vendors.

A report said a fire exit door on the southeast wall of the building can be opened when pulled hard enough.

Show promoter Claude Hall said he could not comment about the thefts but said he talked with an attorney about the incident.

Police reports state that 63 of the 69 stolen guns had serial numbers, which might help authorities as they search for the weapons.
