(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma State basketball team has taken the first step toward healing following a plane crash that killed two players and eight others. The step was last night when the Cowboys played and beat Missouri in their first game since the crash.

The second step comes later today when the team plans to leave Stillwater aboard three corporate jets for a road trip to Nebraska.

Three days after the crash Cowboy Andre Williams said it would likely be some time before any players again boarded a small plane.

Coach Eddie Sutton says the players had the choice of taking a bus, but decided to fly rather than spend eight hours on the road.

Cowboy Fredrik Jonzen's says all must remember that accidents can happen any day. He says the tragedy shouldn't stop the team from traveling as it always has.

Crash victim Nate Fleming was Jonzen's roommate.
