Testimony continues in murder trial

(Stillwater-AP) -- Testimony resumed today in the murder trial of Jennifer Jo Paeyeneers.

Paeyeneers is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in the November 1999 shooting death of her husband, Floyd Thomas "Tommy" Paeyeneers.

Yesterday, jurors heard from Jennifer's alleged co-conspirator in the case, Philip Eugene Meadows. Meadows has made a deal with the state and testified against her in Payne County District Court.

Meadows wept as he described how he shot Tommy Paeyeneers.

Meadows says he and Jennifer started an affair in July 1999 and continued to see one another on a regular basis until their arrests in February.

Defense Attorney Cheryl Ramsey questioned Meadows about inconsistencies in his testimony at trial and in earlier videotaped testimony.
