(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma minister on a missionary trip to El Salvador has not been heard from since a major earthquake struck the area on Saturday.

Relatives of Reverend Jim Price say Price was doing missionary work in a small town 30 miles west of San Salvador when he was last heard from.

Saturday's 7.6 magnitude quake off El Salvador's coast was felt over an 11-hundred mile area. More than 250 people are reported dead.

Price is pastor of First Baptist Church in Hennepin in south-central Oklahoma. He left on January Fourth for mission work with the non-denominational International Evangelistic Crusade.

Price was to return tomorrow.
