BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — An eye-patch sported by John Wayne and a formal dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in roles that won them Academy Awards will go up for auction next week.
The Internet auction site FineArtsBrokerage.com said it will present the items for a two-week auction starting Jan. 15.
The Hepburn costume is a sleeveless, floral-design gown she wore in the 1953 classic ``Roman Holiday.'' The dress was created by costume designer Edith Head, who won an Oscar for her work on the film.
Wayne wore the eye-patch for his Oscar-winning role in 1969's ``True Grit'' and its sequel ``Rooster Cogburn'' in 1975.
