OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The family of Ballet Oklahoma artistic director Bryan Pitts got an unexpected Christmas gift when a video for his 9-year-old son turned out to be worth $1 million.

The prize comes via a winning game piece on a DreamWorks' video of the animated feature, "The Road to El Dorado."

The movie was under the family tree for Pitts' son, Kallen.

"When it happened, we were just in denial," he said. "We said 'we'll just wait and see."'

DreamWorks officials confirmed the win.

Pitts said the money most likely will pay off bills and be used for his sons' college funds, though he said there are places he'd like to help with the money.

He didn't say if Ballet Oklahoma was one of them.

Pitts went to a Best Buy to get the video.

"I looked at the sticker and said, 'Hmmm, maybe we'll get lucky,' and then forgot about it," he said.

The money will be sent in undisclosed increments.

Kallen's brother, Christian, 15, said he doesn't think the money is that big a deal.

"The amount of money we get at a time is so small," he said.

"I don't think it will change anything."

Bryan Pitts said he thinks his sons are handling winning the prize well -- they haven't even approached him with a list of wants.

"Maybe it just hasn't sunk in yet," he said.
