(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma retailers say the Sooners national championship has their cash registers ringing non-stop.

The owner of the Sooner Schooner store in Norman calls the sale of T-shirts phenomenal.

Greg Davis estimates he sold two-thousand T-shirts in the few hours following O-U's Orange Bowl win over Florida State.

A spokeswoman for apparel wholesaler Big Time says the company has been producing continuously since shortly after 11:00 Wednesday night.

Jennifer Willis says some retail buyers were picking up orders at 6:30 this morning.

At Big Red Sales in Tulsa manager Bruce Coursey says the store got its first supply of licensed national championship merchandise early today.

Coursey says an employee drove to Tulsa overnight from Lawrence, Kansas, where the items were made.
