(Detroit-AP) -- General Motors is cutting production at eleven plants in the United States and Canada this month, including the one in Oklahoma City.
G-M officials are working to reduce a growing backlog of unsold cars and trucks.
A total of 32-thousand workers will be affected by the temporary reduction in production.
The plant in Oklahoma City will be idled after January 15th.
