(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa coach Buzz Peterson says 6-foot-9 junior center DeAngelo McDaniel is returning to the Golden Hurricane today.

McDaniel has been out of action since dislocating his right shoulder during a one-point loss at Iowa last month.

Trainer Kevin Beets says McDaniel's shoulder actually came out of the socket when it was dislocated. Beets says the injury is more severe than a similar one that bothered center Brandon Kurtz last season.

Peterson says McDaniel will practice with the team today to test the shoulder.
