(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Civil Air Patrol says it's suspending its part in the search for a missing airplane.

Spokesman Charles Newcomb says authorities now have information indicating the pilot of the single-engine Beecher Sundowner was in Saint Louis later than originally thought. He says the search is now concentrated in Missouri, and the Oklahoma C-A-P is on standby.

The plane was reported missing by the pilot's family on Sunday.

It was to fly from Saint Louis to Midland-Odessa.

Newcomb says that although the plane has yet to be found, there is no indication it crashed.
