Former Minnesota Twins right-hander Steve Luebber will be the Tulsa Drillers pitching coach for the 2001 season. Luebber succeeds Mark Brewer who is now the minor league pitching coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Luebber pitched five seasons in the major leagues between 1971 and 1981, primarily with Minnesota. He also spent time with Toronto and Baltimore.

Luebber has spent the past three seasons as a minor league pitching coach for the Florida Marlins.
