(Tulsa-AP) -- Three men have pleaded innocent to being part of a 14-month-long methamphetamine conspiracy in the Tulsa area.
Everett Lee Cavely, Rickey Lynn Massey and Lloyd Tanner Williams were arraigned yesterday afternoon in U-S District Court in Tulsa on conspiracy charges.
Authorities say Cavely and Massey had been arrested earlier in the day, while Williams is already serving a state drug sentence.
Authorities believe Cavely was the leader of a group that produced meth in the Tulsa area from October 1999 through this month.
Cavely also is charged with threatening to kill a grand jury witness in October. He is alleged to have told the witness to ``keep quiet'' or be killed.
Besides conspiracy, Cavely is also charged with numerous drug counts, including maintaining a meth lab, possessing equipment and chemicals for meth production and four counts of manufacturing meth. He is also accused of possessing a semiautomatic assault weapon.
