(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma has sent in its certified vote giving Republican George W. Bush the state's eight electoral votes.
Today was the deadline for the action. But Missy Dean -- aide to Governor Keating -- said the list was actually put in the mail last Friday.
Copies of the document were sent to the U-S Senate, the National Archives, the secretary of state of Oklahoma and the chief judge of the U-S District Court in Oklahoma City.
The document shows Bush won the election with 744-thousand-337 votes to 474-thousand-246 votes for Democrat Al Gore.
The Bush electors will take part in the Electoral College vote on December 18th. They plan to meet at the state Capitol.
