(Irving-AP) -- The struggling Dallas Cowboys today cut running back Chris Warren.
That comes in the wake of a 27-to-7 Dallas loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday.
Dallas turnovers set up ten of Tampa Bay's 17 first-quarter points.
Brian Kelly intercepted a pass that deflected off Warren's hands and ran nine yards for a touchdown.
Warren was in his third year with Dallas, after being acquired from Seattle -- where he earned All-Pro honors twice.
In Dallas he served as backup to Emmitt Smith. Warren saw most of his action on third-down situations.
The 4-and-9 Cowboys on Sunday host the Washington Redskins.
