(Norman-AP) -- The top-ranked and Orange Bowl-bound Oklahoma Sooners are getting a few days off.
Coach Bob Stoops says the team is free to relax and enjoy their undefeated season and Big 12 championship for a while.
The team is free until Friday when a light practice is scheduled.
In the meantime O-U coaches are hitting the road to recruit and are not due back in Norman until Friday.
Stoops plans to meet with recruits today and tomorrow. On Wednesday he's to attend an Orange Bowl news conference in Miami. Stoops is due at an awards show in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday then returns to Norman on Friday.
