(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa teen-ager who was sentenced to ten years as a youthful offender a year-and-a-half ago is now out of state custody.

State juvenile officials say Christina Fuller is ready to return to the community, and now has a job near a home she shares in Tulsa with a foster parent.

Fuller was 14 when she was convicted on an accessory to murder charge for the 1998 killings of her step-grandfather and her then 15-year-old boyfriend's parents.

The boyfriend, Dylan Ray Shanks, is serving three life terms for the murders.

Assistant prosecutor John Wilkening says the case shows problems with the Youthful Offender Act. Wilkening believes the girl should serve longer for her crimes, saying it's the principle that matters.

Wilkening says he's been told Fuller is no longer in state custody, and will remain free as long as she behaves and follows her treatment plan.
