DALLAS (AP) -- Oklahoma linebacker Torrance Marshall has been named co-defensive player of the week in the Big 12.
Marshall, a senior, returned an interception 41 yards for the game-winning touchdown in the top-ranked Sooners' 35-31 victory at Texas A&M on Saturday. He also made seven tackles.
Marshall shared the honor with Missouri defensive end Justin Smith, who had four sacks in a victory over Baylor.
Hodges Mitchell of Texas, who ran for 264 yards and three touchdowns in the Longhorns' 51-16 victory at Kansas on Saturday, was named offensive player of the week.
Texas Tech's Lawrence Flugence returned a blocked Oklahoma State field goal for a touchdown, earning him recognition as the special teams player of the week.
The selections were made by a media panel covering Big 12 games.
