(Tulsa-AP) -- Senior forward David Shelton led all scorers with 26 points as Tulsa defeated the California Southwest All-Stars 84-to-70 in an exhibition game.

Shelton had 15 points in the first half of yesterday's game to lead the Golden Hurricane to a 37-to-33 halftime lead. Shelton scored Tulsa's final five points of the first half.

The Golden Hurricane scored the first six points of the game and trailed just three times, each time by just two points.

The California All-Stars took a 46-to-44 lead in the second half on a tip-in by former Oklahoma forward Eric Martin. Tulsa responded with a 17-to-4 run to take an eleven-point lead at 61-to-50.
