(Undated-AP) -- One of the nation's best rivalries is resuming at the right time.
Top-ranked Nebraska and third-ranked Oklahoma haven't played in three years because of the Big 12 divisional format. They meet tomorrow as the two highest-scoring teams in the country.
They're also 1-and-2 in the Bowl Championship Series poll that's set up to assure such matchups in the national championship game -- not late October.
It'll be the 17th time both teams have been ranked in the A-P Top Ten, but the first since 1988. It also marks the 13th time either Nebraska (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) or Oklahoma (6-0, 3-0) enter the game ranked number one.
In other Big 12 games tomorrow, 22nd-ranked Texas (5-2, 3-1) is home against Baylor (2-5, 0-4); tenth-ranked Kansas State (7-1, 3-1) plays at Texas A-and-M (5-2, 3-1); Texas Tech (5-3, 1-3) plays at Kansas (4-3, 2-2); Missouri (2-5, 1-3) goes to Iowa State (5-2, 2-2); and Oklahoma State (2-4, 0-3) plays at Colorado (1-6, 1-3).
