(Muskogee-AP) -- Television ads are the latest issue in the Second Congressional District race.
Republican Andy Ewing and Democrat Brad Carson are accusing each other of using negative television commercials.
The two spoke at a forum in Muskogee last night that was sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons. Carson said ads paid for by the national Republican Party try to tie him to other state Democrats, including former Governor David Walters.
Ewing accuses Carson of starting a negative campaign during his primary battle against state Senator Bill Settle.
