The investigation continues in an apparent robbery and shootout in Wagoner. It happened Wednesday night around 8:30 PM. Wagoner Police Chief Terry Hornbuckle tells the News on 6 an elderly gentlemen was at home when two men knocked on his door. They apparently tried to rob him before the gunfire started. “Basically there was a confrontation,” Hornbuckel said. “An elderly gentlemen had been shot, and the two suspects were also shot.”

Neighbors called police who found all three men still at the scene. A .22 revolver was found nearby. Two people were taken by helicopter to Tulsa hospitals. The third was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance.
All three men were listed in fair condition Thursday morning, and all are expected to make a full recovery.

No names have been released. Wagoner Police are still investigating.
