The 93rd annual Tulsa State Fair is officially over. Cooler weather over the weekend had an impact on the fun. Fair officials say chillier temps lead to a drop of about 50,000 visitors from last year. Despite fewer people there was an increase in food and ticket sales. "Despite the cold weather, and even though the attendance won't top last year, I consider this one of the most successful fairs, we've ever had,” said Tulsa Fair spokesperson Denny Tuttle. During the fair's first week, it looked like turnout would beat last year's record setter of 1.1 million visitors.
