(Sapulpa-AP) -- A Beggs woman and her teen-age brother are dead following a chase with Sapulpa police.

Authorities say 20-year-old Patricia Baker and her 14-year-old brother, Justin White, died yesterday. Police Lieutenant Rick Rumsey says the car Baker was driving ran a stop sign and hit the trailer of a tractor-trailer rig.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Baker and White were pronounced dead at the scene.

Rumsey says police tried to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation. But it sped east on Oklahoma 66. Police pursued it for about seven miles at speeds over 90 miles-per-hour.

Police say they later learned that Baker had two outstanding felony drug warrants out of Tulsa County. She was also wanted for unauthorized use of the car she was driving.
