(Stillwell-AP) -- More than half the student body at Stillwell High School staged a one hour walkout this morning in protest of an alleged grade change that benefitted the daughter of Principal Leon Hill.

The 250 students demanded Hill's firing.

They contend Susan Hill's C-minus in chemistry was deleted, allowing her to remain an honor student and giving her an unfair advantage over other students competing for college scholarships.

Leon Hill maintains there was no violation of school policy because only a nine-week grade was dropped and his daughter enrolled in another class.

The school board has admonished Hill and reassigned his wife who had been in charge of the school's grade books.
