SW TEXAS ST. (1-2) AT OKLAHOMA STATE (2-0)
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Reggie White ran for 130 yards and scored a touchdown as Oklahoma State beat Southwest Texas 23-0 Saturday night for its first shutout in three years.

Oklahoma State (2-0) held the Division I-AA Bobcats (1-2) to 141 yards of offense, allowing only one serious scoring threat that ended when defensive back Marcus Jones picked off Reagan George's pass in the end zone early in the third quarter.

The Cowboys held the Bobcats to 36 yards rushing, including five sacks _ two by Juqua Thomas. The Cowboys' last shutout came in a 35-0 victory over Fresno State in 1997.

Tony Lindsay was 8-of-16 for 193 yards and scored on a 1-yard dive to put the Cowboys up 17-0 at halftime.

Southwest Texas spent the game looking for answers to Oklahoma State's bigger, faster defensive players.

Starting all five of its first-half possessions inside the 22-yard line, the Bobcats crossed midfield just once before halftime. Southwest Texas rotated George and Jason Griffin at quarterback throughout the game, but neither was able to lead a sustained drive.

After Southwest Texas went three-and-out to open the game, Oklahoma State went right to work. Starting at the Oklahoma State 43, Lindsay hit receiver Gabe Lindsay over the middle on an 18-yard pass. White then pounded the middle on four consecutive runs, taking the ball to the 5 before scoring three plays later on a 5-yard run to the corner of the end zone.

The Bobcats stiffened on the Cowboys' next possession, but Oklahoma State started its next drive on the Bobcats' 45 and marched to the 22 before Seth Condley kicked a 39-yard field goal to put Oklahoma State up 10-0 early in the second quarter.

White, who gained 187 yards in Oklahoma State's opening game against Tulsa, ran freely against an undersized Southwest Texas front. But with Oklahoma State looking to build on its 10-0 lead in the second quarter, White fumbled into the end zone for a Bobcat touchback.

Condley added two second-half field goals of 28 and 30 yards to cap the Cowboys' scoring.

George finished 10-of-18 for 81 yards, while Griffin was 4-of-9 for 24 yards.

Aso Pagi came on in late relief for Lindsay and was 2-of-5 for 29 yards.
