(Jay-AP) -- The wife of Disney's police chief has received a deferred prosecution for the alleged theft of more than six-thousand dollars from a Grand Lake yacht company.

Officials say Deanna Lynn Rainwater has been placed on probation for a year and the embezzlement charge against her was dropped as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

Rainwater is the wife of Disney Police Chief Marlin Rainwater.
